Abstract

This article is performed in the channel with a topical genre study direction conditioned by anthropocentricity of modern linguistic science and it summarizes the data of previous research in this direction and extends existing ideas about the specificity of main speech and behavioral tactics of the identified genre, which being combined are used to achieve strategic perlocutionary effect. Speech genre of «quarrel» is presented as a special model of speech utterance which is structured by a certain complex of genre constitutive signs. As a fundamental conclusion of the work statement that genre of «quarrel» (as any other genre) is a particular script, which is fixed for by a standard set of speech tactics and linguistic means realizing it.

SEMANTIC AND WORD-FORMATION STRUCTURE OF TEMPORAL VOCABULARY IN THE MORDVIN LANGUAGES

Abstract

The paper analyzes the semantic and word-formation structure of temporal vocabulary in the Mordvin (Erzya and Moksha) languages. In the studied languages, among the words with temporal meaning nouns, adjectives, adverbs, participles and postpositions are singled out. The word-formation analysis showed that most of the words are formed by means of composition or suffixation. It should be noted that composition is the most productive way of word-formation in modern Mordvin languages.

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the work of famous British historian Steven Ellis. In this article the concepts of the role of borders in Tudor England and place of nobility in the Crown’s politics toward the boundaries is analyzed. From the historian’s point of view the fate of territorial barons was in close association with the development of this lands and their place in Tudor monarchy. The interconnections between the Crown and boundary barons from S. Ellis opinion don’t mean the crisis of aristocracy. They show the situation in which the boundary nobility found itself - the situation of contradiction between the demands of the Crown and the boundary communities.

The article examines the influence of the authoritarian syndrome on legitimation process of the government institutions, in particular, establishing and maintaining of legitimation personal type. In the article the essence of open information and educational environment as a pedagogical system of special form is revealed; corresponding changes of each component of a pedagogical system caused by the use of information and communication technologies and open nature of environment are described.

EFFECTS OF LEARNING IN TERMS OF CONFLICTING FEEDBACK

Abstract

This article describes the process and results of an experimental study to establish the relation between effectiveness of learning and contradictory feedback. The tasks of hand-eye coordination were used in the experiment. It is shown that in the context of conflicting feedback there is a strong tendency to take the best result of the presented alternatives as their own. Using such strategy, however, leads to increased efficiency of learning. Furthermore, it was found that repeated errors play an important role in learning, providing the most accurate repetition of reactions.

ERRORS IN LEARNING PROCESS IN DIFFERENT WAYS OF EVALUATING A MODEL

Abstract

The article describes the procedure and results of a study aimed at identifying the phenomena of learning related to the evaluation by two independent methods of the same relevant stimulus. It was shown that during the learning process two independently working evaluation systems adjust to each other and this may be one of the criteria of the learning process. Furthermore, the study allows the counterintuitive conclusion that repeated errors can play an important role in the process of learning.
