Procedure of evaluating the dynamic component of gravity force for aerospace centrifuges

Abstract

The procedure of evaluating the adequacy of the dynamic component of artificial and natural force of gravity (aerospace centrifuges and the Earth surface) has been developed. Distributions of amplitude values of ante grade and retrograde flows in arteries along the longitudinal coordinate and their response to external disturbance – tests for 4 groups of people of different sex and age have been obtained. Recommendations for programmers of experiments on short-radius centrifuges have been stated.

Simulating thermal fields of complex closed structure aboard research space laboratory

Abstract

Thermal fields are simulated inside the reentry vehicle (RV) of the space lab “Proton”. The object under investigation is a sphere filledwith airwith solid heat – releasing bodies (scientific devices and apparatus), heat regulations system and fans inside it.
The results obtained provide an idea of the objects temperature conditions depending on the operating condition of the heat regulation system. They also make it possible to elaborate recommendation to improve the system’s efficiency and to simulate the heat flowers in advance numerically for optimal location of scientific apparatus inside the RV.

Joint operation ofaircraft gas turbine engines and fuel automated equipment in acceleration and braking modes

Abstract

Problems of joint modeling of aircraft turbojet engines and fuel-regulating equipment in transition processes are discussed. Two approaches are compared- the method of structural patters, transfer functions, using Laplase transformations accepted for designing control systems and the method based on imitation modeling which is used when designing an engine. The paper shows the necessity of creating devices to carry out investigations and to analyze the engine dynamic in conjunction with the system of automatic regulation.

Problems of relational navigation in load transporation on helicopter external hanger

Abstract

The authors investigate the possibility of using a satellite radio navigation system for satellite support of load transportation on a helicopter external hanger. Afunctional scheme of solving the task of navigation and an algorismof determining the vector of relative position of the helicopter and the load when complexing the measurements coming from two navigation receivers are given. The scheme proposed is assessed by the numerical results of statisticmodelling of the algorithms under consideration.

Estimation of technogenetic substance flow density distribution in time and spacewith regard to local breakages of space vehicle compartments

Abstract

The paper considers an approach which makes it possible to estimate Technogenetic substance flow density distribution in time and space. The is a cloud of fragments of the broken space vehicle compartments. Specific indicators are chosen to estimate the cloud parameters. The solution of the problem involves modeling the breakage of a space vehicle compartment with a given number of fragments in the cloud. The fragments masses, ballistic coefficients, velocities and directions of flying are chosen. The orbits of the fragments formed and their further evolution are calculated. The author proposes making estimations for certain given values of volume calculated relative to the basic trajectory of the space vehicle broken. The modeling results for the chosen case of space vehicle breakage are given.

The paper proposes a method for solving the task of choosing parameters of space observation system orbital structure which consists of several space vehicles. An indicator of minimal periodicity of observations is used. The method is based on the model of guaranteed observation periodicity using visibility areas. Results of choosing orbital structure parameters are given and compared with the results obtained by the traditional method of constructing a space observation system orbital structure.

An automatic diagnostic complex has been developed and tested. It was designed on the basis of combined use of an interference – proof digital speckle – interferometer and the schlieren method. The diagnostic complex will find application in analysing ware interaction of working media and construction in many areas of science and technology.

Acoustic whirling resonance of an aircraft fuel pump screw

Abstract

The paper describes a combined fuel unit consisting of two stages- the screw centrifugal stage and the main pinion stage.A model of whirling disturbances interaction in the screw centrifugal stage with screw blades oscillating has been developed. The model takes into account the impact of hydrodynamic processes in the pinion stage. The model describes resonance increase of the frequencies of the screw own oscillations, vibroacoustic influence of the pinion stage and the stalling of end whirls. The experiments show the adequacy of the model designed to the real process.

Calculation of fuel distribution in combustion chamber nozzle module

Abstract

The paper presents the results of calculation of flow and drop liquid fuel concentrations in the combustions chamber nozzle. The numerical model used takes into account two stages of fuel spraying. Significant influence of secondary spraying on the formation of drop liquid fuel concentrations is revealed. It is shown that the methods developed can be used to analyse the influence of constructional and mode parameters of mixing devices on fuel concentration distribution in them.

Computational and experimental research of the thermal state of a perforated wall of a liner with inclined slots

Abstract

The thermal state of a perforated wall with inclined slots for liners was determined experimentally by means of a thermovision system. Three-dimensional calculations of boundary layer aerodynamics on the wall with cooling air injection through discrete inclined slots were carried out on the basis of numerical integration of a three-dimensional system of Navier-Stokes equations. It is established that the cooler jest penetrate into a hot stream less intensively with fan air supply than with straight supply. Consequently, the wall is cooled more efficiently with fan air supply. Dependence of cooling efficiency on the angle of inclined slots was obtained.

Mathematical modeling of hydrodynamic processes in a pipeline partially filled with air

The papers present the procedure of calculating hydrodynamic parameters for liquid column motion in a plastic pipeline partially filled with air and connected up to a tank with an air cavity over the liquid. The liquid starts moving at the moment the eiectropnevmatic gate is opened.End the motion depends on the pressure in the tank, pipeline parameters and the number of bends in the pipeline. Hydrodynamic parameters are calculated on the basis of solving non – linear integral and differential equations by the finite difference method. The results of calculation make it possible to define the liquid velocity, the forces of liquid reaction in pipeline bends and to analyse the influence of the factors affecting them.

Algorithm of calculating hydrodynamic parameters of a pipeline partially filled with air

The paper presents a software algorithm watch enables calculating hydrodynamic parameters of a liquid in a plastic main pipeline partially filled with air and connected up to a tank with an air cavity over the liquid when the electro pneumatic gate is opened. The influence of cavity volume and pressure in the tank, the time of opening the gate, the degree f filling the main line with liquid, pipeline parameters and diaphragm dimensions on the speed of liquid column moving along the lines and reaction forces emerging in pipe bends is analysed. Recommendations are given how to reduce hydrodynamic loads on the pipelines.
