Wearability, wearproof and heat-shielding coverings for details of the gas path of the turbine, the compressor and the chamber of combustion of gas turbine engine
Abstract
The basic laws and features of plotting of wearability, wearproof and heat-resisting coverings on a detail of a gas path of the turbine, the compressor and the combustion chamber of gas turbine engine by gas-thermal plasma and ionicplasma vacuum methods are considered. The basic updates and elements of modernisation of the equipment for gasthermal and an ionic-plasma vacuum method are shown. For calculation of the temperatures, flowing and residual pressure real cases and receptions at spraying are considered.
Thermal deformation influence to cryogenic pumps seals operability
Abstract
The bush seals and seals with semi-movable rings are widely used in rocket engines turbopumps. One of abnormal function of this seals causes is – contact of rotor and stator elements. This occurs due to incorrect selection of seal clearance that connected with thermal deformations.
Centrifugal force field effect consideration in dynamics investigation of blade wheels
Abstract
The disk finite element was developed for structural analysis of rotating nonuniform heated disks from the gas turbine engines. FORTRAN code program was developed for structural analysis of rotating nonuniform heated disks from the gas turbine engines.

Pressure-gain combustion and its potential for gas turbine engine enhancement
Abstract
Despite its simplicity the quasi-isobaric, steady-flow combustion in gas turbines has been identified to have major disadvantages. The highly irreversible heat addition process in conjunction with inevitable loss in stagnation pressure represent an obvious penalty to engine performance and limit the thermodynamic cycle efficiency. This intrinsic drawback of conventional gas turbine combustion can be substantially improved by introduction of pressuregain combustion. The main advantage of pressure gain combustors is their potential for a significant rise in thermal cycle efficiency, its magnitude essentially depending on the specific device chosen. The thermodynamic advantage of pressure-gain combustion is analysed and shown as a function of the combustor pressure ratio for various gas turbine engine setups. Further, the aim of this paper is to summarize the status and important research efforts in this field. A compilation of proposed pressure-gain combustor concepts is presented with regard to its performance, mechanical complexity and suitability for use in gas turbines.
An EHD analysis of complex–loaded bearings
Abstract
An elaslohydrodynamic lubricating model is presented for the problem of a hydrodynamic lubricating fluid in elastic structure that includes distributed structural inertia. The Mass-conserving fluid method has been used. In the present work, an EHD simulation has been conducted for a big end connecting rod bearing.
Agency of members of the pulse detonation engine on thrust characteristics
Abstract
In paper agency of members (depth of the room, a diffusor and an ejector), rendered on tractive characteristics of the pulse detonation engine (PDE) is observed. The essence of computing experiment is stated, its results are resulted. Besides the generalised results of fire tests of demonstrator PDE are resulted.
Use of the mathematical tool of hypervector ranging for selection energy-power plant of flight vehicles
Abstract
The problem of selection of effective versions energy-power plant and versions of their design for various flight vehicles at a design stage which is reduced to a problem of hypervector ranging is observed. The method of its solution based on a method of "rigid" ranging is offered. The numerical instance is resulted.

The problem of increasing the sensitivity of the built-in control sensors of parameters particles of contamination in a working fluid of hydraulic systems is considered. The problem of increase reliability of hydrosystems is considered due to application of proactive maintenance technologies. As an integrated diagnostic attribute of proactive maintenance of hydrosystems the particle size distribution of contamination a hydraulic fluid is used. In the article the issue of organizing special tutors` training for teaching in the system of distance education is examined. The lack of tutors or their insufficient readiness (professional, psychological and technical) to fulfill tutor`s activity seems to be the main obstacle in introducing distance learning in the Russian educational system. Identifying the level of teachers` readiness to fulfill tutor`s activity is the first step in the developing stages, topics and problem spheres of their training in modernizing process of the educational system of in Russia.

Investigation of friction joints working in nuclear plant with heat transfer medium consist of heavy high temperature liquid metal
Abstract
The experimental equipment developed for the decision of tribological problems, arising at use of friction joints in the environment of heavy liquid metals is submitted as heat-transfer medium for contours of nuclear power installations. For researches of fretting-corrosion of heat release pipes in contact with spacer grid cell the installation modelling a fretting process in the contacts with the purpose of a substantiation of vibration strength of a steam generator of a reactor on fast neutrons with the lead heat transfer medium is created. Experimental installation for research and resource tests of cylindrical involute gearings and the sliding bearings working in reactors on fast neutrons in the environment of the lead heat transfer is described. Experimental samples of circulating pumps for reactor installations, intended for research of wear process characteristics of steel and cast iron sliding support working in the environment of lead, eutectic alloys lead - bismuth and lead - lithium are developed.

Vibration diagnosis not centered shafts connected by gear gearing
Abstract
The theoretical analysis of a spectrum of the vibration generated by not centered shafts, connected by gear gearing. For the first time it is shown under what conditions generation of the third harmonic of frequency of rotation of rotors is possible. Results of the analysis are confirmed by an experimental material.
Invariancy of vector models in modelling tooth gearings
Abstract
Bases of a method of mathematical modelling are resulted, statement of a problem of necessity of modelling tooth pumps is made, the analysis of possible construction of the vector model describing a surface of a tooth, the variant of construction of vector models with use of "intermediate" arguments of model is chosen. The given research proves a technique of modelling of tooth gearings on the basis of a method of mathematical modelling the vector closed contours and shows the some advantages of similar modelling.
The oretical substantiation of the constructive scheme of the air-gas tract rinsing device for GTE
Abstract
The theoretical substantiation of the constructive scheme of the air-gas tract rinsing device for gas turbine engine (GTE) is lead. The interrelation of device construction with geometrical parameters of engine entrance part and parameters of an air stream is shown, calculated proportion for evaluation of key parameters of the device are resulted.
Processing of experimental data by the method of the least squares

The particular case of application of a method of the least squares is considered. The analysis of conformity of received before without application of the method of the least squares formulas for heat transfer factors at movement of fluids in pipes to the best decisions is carried out. New analytical dependences for definition of the specified factors of heat transfer are offered.
Modeling stable growth of fatigue cracks in aero engine turbine discs under simple and complex loading cycles
Abstract
Techniques for modeling stable fatigue crack growth in highly stressed structural parts under simple and complex loading cycles have been developed which are based on the theory of local high-energy-type fracture mechanism acting at a crack front in the second stage of fatigue crack kinetics. The techniques have been verified with the use of 3D finite element modeling and microfractographic reconstitution of fatigue crack growth in aero engine turbine discs.
Increase of stability of technological systems at processing of details aircrafts engines
Abstract
The reasons of occurrence and development of self-oscillations are considered at processing by cutting. The mathematical model of self-oscillatory process is offered at processing of deep apertures which has allowed investigating influence of various factors on intensity of vibrations and stability of system. Taking into account results of theoretical researches designs of boring tools with the raised stability to vibrations have been developed. Experimental researches have confirmed adequacy of mathematical model and have allowed planning ways of increase of stability, quality and productivity of processing.
Experience of using the end-to-end design systems for engineering of high-speed and high-efficiency machining in aircraft industry
Abstract
This article describes the actual experience with the integrated CAD/CAM system for the high-speed and highefficiency machining in the aircraft industry. Author examines the most important aspects of the machining, influencing the efficiency of the selection. New high-performance cut-maps are presented in the article. It also contains the practical results of machining of parts made of the aluminum alloy and stainless heat-resistant steel.
Analysis and ballistics project the gun tube system with a joined drive on chamber
Abstract
On the basis of the mathematical model of internal gun's ballistics with two phases and two velocities of phases the numerical simulation of non traditional scheme of throwing was carried out. The possibility of increasing of initial velocities of missiles with Cq=4,55 kilogram - force per cubic decimeter at about 7% comparison with classical scheme of throwing on conditions that maximum pressures are invariable.
Seal designing in a structure of the cooling system in gas turbine engine

The seal design influence on work of the secondary air system in gas turbine engine is shown. The design method of the such system with the definition of mutual influence of gas seal and radial gap change is generated. This methods and means for practical realization are recommended at the engine design.
Research of a seal work as an element of the air engine support
Abstract
The analysis of a seal work as an element of a engine support is executed. The features of heat exchange processes from the surrounding support housing air through walls to oil are considered for the various types of engines. For a concrete example the size of a thermal flow and temperatuere level for the walls washed by oil is valueted. The recommendations about the rational protection choice for the walls of an oil cavity are given.

The CAD system world already became 3D. But 2D modeling is still actual for many of engineering tasks. This article gives the retrospective for 2D modeling tools in CAD systems and explains some special methods, used in ADEM-VX system. Modeling of the heat exchange processes
Abstract
The heat exchange processes computer models in combustion chambers of power installations have been elaborated with the help of cellular automata. The peculiarity of worked out models is in calculation of not homogeneous heat conduction coefficient in examined field. Comparison with analogs shows increase of computer models precision and rise of calculations rate in more than 4 times.

The task of harmonization of requirements to the specialists is discussed on the example of Bachelor and Master’s degree competence models for high-technology innovation machine-building. The design procedure of hydromechanical characteristics (HMC) of bush bearings under combined load greased by micropolar fluids is considered. The theory of current of micropolar fluids by Eringen is put in a basis. The effective temperature of a lubricant film of the bearing of final length is calculated from the equation of thermal balance. Are solved test problems and influence of parameters of micropolar oils on HMC bearings of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine is estimated.
Improvement of a design piston of diesel engine of tractor
Abstract
The regular piston, the piston with gallery oil cooling and steel piston of the forced diesel engine are investigated. In the course of calculations hydrodynamic lubrication theory based, their hydromechanical characteristics has been evaluated. Optimum parameters of design skirt for each piston are found, allowing to reduce power loss, oil consumption in a direction of combustion chamber, to increase minimal thickness of a lubricant layer.

In the report the technique and results of calculations of durability the spherical roller bearing of a satellite gear wheel of a planetary reducer contain. At calculation efforts in gearing of a gear wheel of planetary transfer, and also centrifugal forces of portable and relative movement, both rollers, and gear wheels are considered. Are considered both deformations in contacts of rollers, and deformations of a deflection of the outer ring combined with a gear wreath. Durability calculations are made on base contact pressure. Recommendations about increase of working capacity of the bearing are resulted.
Laws of life dispersion and statistical estimation of life distribution boundaries as applied to aviation engine LPC disks
Abstract
The fatigue life variation coefficients versus its base were obtained on the basis of statistic processing of titanium disks test and operation results. The lower boundaries of the D-30 and D-30KU engines’ LPC stage 1 disk life distribution in the area of fillets of dovetailed grooves were determined.

Influence of dynamic loading of an internal combustion engine on turbocharger ТКR8.5С is considered at diagnosing by a method of the analysis of vibration of its case. At dynamics calculation bearing parts with the floating rotating barrel taking into account ruggedness of the case for turbocharger and power influence from a bent shaft and engine buckets are defined frequency ranges of display of defects of a bearing mount assembly in theoretical signals vibroacceleration; the theoretical frequency analysis is carried out.
Methods of calculating the load characteristics of ring dampers of the MR material with partial coverage of a bearing with precessional loading
Abstract
The paper shows the method of calculating elastic and damping characteristics of ring damper made of the MR material with partial coverage of the coaxial space between a support and a cylindrical vibrating bearing. Shown that a precessional loading results in elliptical hysteresis loops at projections on coordinate axes of damper. The magnitude of reactions depends on the geometrical parameters of support, the density of the wired material MR, prior tightness of damper. Found that the volume of a gap in the ring damper deforms the elliptical shape of hysteresis loops and their orientation in the coordinate system of load characteristics.
