Command control of hypersonic cruising aircraft during climb

Balakin V.L., Kotchyan A.G.

Abstract

The problem of forming command control for a hypersonic cruising aircraft during climb is discussed. The motion is analyzed under atmospheric density disturbance and deviations from aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft. A two-channel control algorithm is proposed: by the angle of attack and fuel consumption per second. The algorithm efficiency as regards compensating the disturbance influence on meeting the final motion conditions is analysed.

Sbrodov V.V., Sviridov V.P., Safronov S.G.

Abstract

The article addresses the structure of combined correlation and extreme system for processing and analysis of visual information to assist control and targeting of moving carriers and remote sensing devices, and to ensure real-time recognition of certain fragments of the surveyed scene. The authors describe algorithms of functioning in the following modes: identification of given objects, direction of targeting systems onto the identified objects, stabilization of sightline of the identified object while the carrier keeps moving relative to the surveyed scene. The article also dwells on a method to improve the reliability of guidance in conditions of current information changing in the process of direction. The results of the research in the efficiency of recognition of binary correlation algorithms under such interference as brightness, changes of contrast, picture smearing for different signal-to-noise ratios are presented. The results of experimental tests of the system prototype on a specialized bench are also given.

Finite element techniques for pipe system vibroacoustical characteristics modelling

Mironova T.B., Prokofiev A.B., Shorin V.P.

Abstract

The paper presents techniques of finite-element modeling of pipeline vibroacoustic characteristics in case of pipelines being loaded with a pulsating fluid flow. The first technique is designed for a pipeline with the centre line lying in one plane and is based on using seven-node finite elements. The technique of modeling pipelines of a complex space configuration with the centre line not lying in one plane allows for the use of linear finite elements. The techniques are realized in software and they mean considerable reduction of computational costs as compared to previously existing ones. The results of modeling are compared with the experimental data and their convergence is assessed.

Method of producing thin-walled conical parts in a die with an elastic element

Popov I.P., Nesterenko E.S., Zimarev M.V.

Abstract

A new way forming of thin-walled conical parts in a die with an elastic element is proposed. In this method, the conditions of formation are considerably facilitated due to eliminating the reactive tangential stresses on the surface of the contact of the part and the elastic element. That will make it possible: to increase the height of stamped parts, to prevent losses of stability of the stamped part, to increase the maximum coefficient of forming.

Calculating maximum amplitude in an oscillatory system with many-valued perturbation

Lepilov A.N.

Abstract

The paper deals with the task of determining maximum amplitude of harmonic oscillations with a small external many-valued perturbation. An averaged differential inclusion is constructed in order to solve it using the method of support functions. It mutually approximates the initial system on slow variables over the time interval [0,1/ m], where m is perturbation. The problem of calculating the maximum average for the periodic function arises which is solved by an approximate method.
