Assessment of the error of measurement of the period which has been set by pulse signals, and method of increase of accuracy measurement

Abstract

We consider a method of increasing the accuracy of measurement intervals defined dome shaped signals varying in amplitude. It is proposed a device for performing the method, and a сomparative evaluation of the existing errors and recommended methods. The evaluation showed improved accuracy of the proposed method for measuring 3 ... 4 order in this range of variation of the amplitudes of the input signals.

Abstract

The article discusses a device for removing the phase response of amplifiers. Describes the principles of its operation are given diagrams voltage outputs blocks that make up the device. The processes of change in the phase shift of the output voltage of the amplifier, signal conversion, and coordinates. Formation of orthogonal initial tension and their conversion from rectangular coordinate system in the polar is probed.The advantage of the device is represented by a high precision removal phase response of the amplifier.

The article describes the control device, allowing to make rejection of semiconductor diodes. The proposed device has a high accuracy and reliability of the control. The device allows you to set different rates of change of the out-put voltage of the sawtooth generator. Quality control is performed by diode reverse branch of the current-voltage characteristics. The device provides a better signal / noise ratio at low current levels.

Analysis of random uncertainties of heart rate variability

Abstract

The article is devoted to analysis of random uncertainties of heart rate variability indices. The article contains the algorithm of Hurst indicator calculation based on RS-method and algorithm of calculation of fluctuation coefficient based on Detrended Fluctuation Analysis. The dependence between relative uncertainty of heart rate variability indices and absolute uncertainty of measurement of beat-to-beat intervals is estimated. The conclusion about sensitivity of heart rate variability indices used in the article to the uncertainty of measurement of beat-to-beat intervals is made.

The semiconductor laser radiation with the external birefringent resonator is investigated. Existence of two main generated spectral lines corresponding to resonances of ordinary and extraordinary waves is established. Effective control of radiation, without loss on a spectral filtration is shown. It is specified possibility of application of two-mode generation in optical communication systems with WDM.

One method to build flying vehicle launch catapults

Abstract

The paper considers rotational catapults to launch flying vehicles (FV). Their mathematical descriptions with calculation formulas are given. Rotational catapults are compared with conventional steam and hydraulic devices on the accumulated potential and kinetic energy, power, efficiency, work and the capacity of electrical accumulators. Rotational catapults advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Ways to fix the existing disadvantages are described. Formulas for calculation of power capabilities of the catapult energy sources are given. Rotational catapults basic performance characteristics are shown, their structural units are depicted. Catapults application in the state-of-the-art systems and devices for unmanned and piloted FV launching are analyzed.
