Davletshin I.S., Mingazov B.G., Yavkin V.B., Kesel B.A., Voskoboynikov D.V.

Abstract

This paper presents a comparative study of six turbulence models for calculating the diffuser channels of different configurations, and also study of influence of parameters of computational grid on calculation results. The simulations was carried out on six grids with different spacing for the near wall points and different resolutions. The performance of six different turbulence models is compared with experimental results obtained at «Aviamotor» and other published experimental results. Creation of optimal models for different stages of engineering calculations of exhaust systems is considered.

Experiment-calculated research of the influence of the shot-peening strengthening upon the low-cycle fatigue of the gas turbine parts with the stress concentrator

Porter A.M., Bukaty S.A., Leshin D.P., Bukaty A.S.

Abstract

The finite-element technique of the deflected mode of the gas turbine parts in the stress concentration zone with the residual stress after shot-peening strengthening has been developed here. The deflected mode in the interlock of the type “dovetail” after shot-peening strengthening is examined on the example of the low pressure compressor disc. Calculations and low-cycle fatigue tests of the samples and disks performed on the test stand “UIR-3” verified the effectiveness of the surface plastic deformation strengthening in the stress concentration zone.

Abstract

Results of a dynamic condition experimental research of the modern three-stage blisk fan designs, designed on new calculated technologies are resulted. Features of rotor blades fluctuations are revealed at research of a flutter in stalling area. As a result of the carried out experimental research the conclusion that there are two kinds of a subsonic cascade flutter is made: without-stalling flutter to which there corresponds the wave of deformation running on rotation and a stalling flutter at which the wave of deformation runs against rotation.

Smurova N.A.

Abstract

The article provides determinative and sub-priority criteria considered for solution of a multicriterion problem of the efficiency evaluation which characterizes implementation of a number of priority functions by the fuel flow automatic control system. These functions define switching of the automatic fuel flow in the fuel lines of the aircraft engines as well as possible fuel drain to the object drain system and its transverse centering. Presentation of the efficiency function as a function of two variables, which characterize the effect of the use of the control system regarding the determinative and one of the sub-priority indicators, permits to use a method of the stepwise evaluation of the efficiency.

Bases of methodology of maintenance of system safe operation of engines at all stages of life cycle

Grigoriev V.A., Kuznetsov S.P.

Abstract

Ensuring reliable and safe flight operation of the aircraft engines is actually attained by the developers, manufacturers and operators at all stages of the engine life cycle. This necessitates the analysis of the engine configuration, which is formed while making up engine sets and assembling using a specific for the moment design of parts or components, which were manufactured, subjected to inspection and tests under the specific manufacturing conditions. The results of such analysis in connection with the results and conditions of operation form the engine airworthiness management system. Such a system implies methodology, which provides for account of all normative requirements beginning with the design stage and their further execution control at stages of development, serial production and operation. One of the main aspects of the system is definition of parts, components and assembly units and further classification thereof depending on the extent of their impact on flight safety.

The thermoacoustic heat pump was designed and build by “Thermoacoustic Technology Ltd” in cooperation with the ФГУП ГНП РКЦ «ЦСКБ-ПРОГРЕСС». The experimental thermoacoustic device may be used as a refrigerator, heat pump or an acoustic pulsator. It consists of the thermoacoustic engine, thermoacoustic refrigerator and the acoustic resonator. The work of the experimental device based on the direct and the reverse thermoacoustic effects. The direct thermoacoustic effect is the generation of the acoustic waves due the temperature gradient. The reverse thermoacoustic effect is the generation of the temperature gradient due the work of the acoustic waves. The thermoacoustic technology has many various applications at different branches of the science and technique.
