PHILOSOPHY

Regarding the concept of social and humanitarian cybernetics

Tslaf V.

Abstract

The main attributes of natural, humanitarian, social and technical sciences are described in the article. The peculiarity of cybernetics is its duality: on the one hand, it is a natural science that studies information processes, statics and dynamics of control systems; on the other hand, it is a technical science, the task of which is to epistemically ensure the development of algorithms and technical means for analyzing, forecasting and managing processes in technical and socio-activity systems. The synthesis of cybernetics as a natural science with the humanities and social sciences is necessary in cases where it is necessary to form a mechanism for effective management of socio-activity systems based on data obtained by methods of socio-humanities, taking into account the requirements of cybernetics for management systems, to optimize management, to provide socio-activity systems with the properties of self-organization and learning. Theoretically, such a synthesis is necessary for the development of a general management theory of socio-activity systems and the theoretical management foundations of socio-cultural society modernization, which is considered to be one of the most actual tasks of our time. Socio-humanitarian cybernetics at this stage of its development is formed as a set of concrete examples of the cybernetics’ synthesis with the humanities and social sciences. The formation of socio-humanitarian cybernetics as a separate science with all its attributes: specific ontological and methodological base, library of developed models, archive of factual data, specific language for describing all scientific elements, unique problematic area, standard methods’ libraries for solving problems, logically completed theory and a set of hypotheses for the purpose of the theory further development in the future.

The human dimension of technology in philosophy and literature: P. Florensky, F. Dessauer, A. Platonov

Bernyukevich T.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the characteristics of the connection between the technical and the anthropological in the philosophical concepts of P. Florensky, F. Dessauer and in the literary activity of A. Platonov. The question of the human dimension of technology is essential today, it is associated with the discussion about the genesis of technology, its role in society, the prospects for the human civilization development and the need to regulate technological progress.
The use of the comparative method allows to focus on the specifics of understanding the issue of the relationship between human being and technology in the works of P. Florensky, F. Dessauer and A. Platonov, as well as to consider the differences between the repercussions of the topic “technology and human being” in philosophy and literature. The Russian religious philosopher P. Florensky expanded the understanding of the “technology” essence up to the space of culture and the achievement of harmony set by God and lost by man. The connection between the genesis of technology and the capacity of Being to coming into being is determined by the works of the German philosopher and theologian F. Dessauer. In science fiction stories and short novels by A. Platonov and, in general, in his early works there may be viewed the fascination with the human mind and the scientific invention generated by it. However, there are also doubts concerning the possibility of the projects’ implementation created by the “narrowed consciousness” of a human being: the loneliness of characters-transformers (creators), the tragedy during the projects’ implementation, the discovery of the “innermost” areas of human existence.
It is necessary to address the fundamental problem of relations between the anthropological and the technical in the culture’s system in order to understand the nature of technology, its place in the sphere of culture, and its functions in the sphere of society.

Georg Christoph Lichtenberg’s aphoristic thinking

Nordmann A.

Abstract

Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742–1799) was one of the most prominent Enlightenment figures in Germany - alongside with Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, Moses Mendelssohn, Immanuel Kant. During his lifetime he was best known as a professor of physics, popularizer of science, witty mind, and thought-provoking essayist. His enduring philosophical legacy is based on his posthumously published so-called wastebooks (rough notebooks) which gather together countless observations and remarks and which founded a tradition of aphoristic writing that was continued by the Schlegel brothers, Novalis, Schopenhauer, and especially Ludwig Wittgenstein. The characteristic feature of the aphoristic method is not to pointedly sum up or to cast a thought in a concise witty form. Instead, the aphorism provides a pregnant formulation that occasions a movement of thought. This paper picks up on extant characterizations of Lichtenberg’s Sprachdenken (thinking of, by, and through language) and seeks to develop them further. The following movement of thought is occasioned by one of Lichtenberg’s playful remarks which suggests the idea of a language in which “any blunder in matters of truth would be a grammatical blunder as well”.

The hero / protagonist and the recipient in the monodrama “The Death of Firs” by V. Levanov

Filippov G., Razukhina K.

Abstract

In V. Levanov’s monodrama “The Death of Firs”, there is an increase in performatization characteristic of the contemporary drama. The character deduced by V. Levanov is linked by an intertextual thread with the works of Chekhov and transforms into a complex personality, whose identity is revealed through a detailed monologue statement. In order to highlight the characteristic features of the recipient and the character in V. Levanov’s monodrama, it is necessary to take into account the performative potential of the text and its influence on the transformation of these categories in the monodrama. Thus, the recipient of the monodrama becomes an accomplice of the communicative act according to the principle of total involvement, and the theatrical enactment of the monologue action is deliberately highlighted by the structure of the text. In this regard, it is necessary to reconsider the influence of the position of the such a subject on the receptive potential of the reader / viewer. Taking into account the monodrama’s orientation to the extremely “personal”, the loss / search of identity by the character significantly affects the reduction of the distance between the word and the action, the hero / protagonist and the recipient. The purpose of this article is to comprehend the key categories of the character and the recipient for the monodrama on the material of the play “Death of Firs” in the context of the peculiarities of the monodramatic compositional speech construction. For this purpose, the authors refer to the works of M. Lipovetsky, S. Lavlinsky, E. Davydova, A. Pavlov and others. Meanwhile, the researchers have repeatedly examined V. Levanov’s monodrama from the point of view of the anthropological characteristics of the hero / protagonist and the specifics of the narrative organization of the text. In this study, we first attempted to analyze V. Levanov’s play “The Death of Firs” from the point of view of theoretical poetics and a receptive-aesthetic approach.

Performative in Sergei Davydov’s play “Kolya against everyone”

Kabilova E.

Abstract

The article demonstrates the performative features of modern monodramatic plays. Moreover, the main definitions of performative and features of performative texts are provided in the present article. The features of the poetics of modern monodrama, which determine its performative potential, are discussed. The purpose of the article is to show, using the example of the analysis of S. Davydov’s monodrama, how performatization at various levels of text organization makes it possible to enhance the impact of a dramatic statement on the reader / viewer. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study comprised the works of N. A. Ageeva, Yu. B. Gryaznova, N. N. Evreinov, S. P. Lavlinsky, A. M. Pavlov, A. V. Pokalo. As a result of the analysis carried out, the performative features of the play “Kolya against everyone” are revealed practically at all levels of its artistic structure (paratext, system of characters, speech organization, plot situation and dramatic conflict). The author comes to the conclusions that the performative in the play helps to build constant communication between the subject of action and the recipient and also initiates the process of continuous “moral and ethical self-identification”, which occurs both at the level of the hero / protagonist, who, through his monologue, evaluates his life from the outside (extrinsically), and on the level of the recipient, who correlates his personal experience with the experience of the hero/ protagonist.

Digital drama of the first quarter of the XXI century. Experience of performative projection of modern times

Sizova M.

Abstract

This article is devoted to new forms of organization of dramatic and stage text associated with the digimodern culture. It provides a brief excursion into the history and theory of digimodernism in America. Moreover, there have been considered modern Russian-language examples of digital stage text adapted to our reality. The experience of the director Dmitry Volkostrelov and his numerous theatrical practices are analyzed as a hero / protagonist of the story. As the hero of the story, the experience of director Dmitry Volkostrelov and his numerous theatrical practices are explored.
The text of the article explores step by step the problem of adapting the dramatic genre to the digital reality of the Internet and analyzes the very possibility of such adaptation. The key question is asked: “What is virtual reality becoming in the theatrical environment today? The background or content of the story, the reason for the development of new theater director’s matrices.
Through the retrospective of Dmitry Volkostrelov’s directorial work, a hypothesis is built about the possible influence of the surrounding space on the texts of the play by Pavel Pryazhko (drama in the life of this principal director) and the language of Volkostrelov’s mise-en-scene.

Narrativization of dramatic statements in the plays of Oleg Bogayev

Jukhnievich A.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is, first of all, the analysis of different forms of narration in the comedy works of Oleg Bogaev. Among them, we have selected those plays that differ in a special way of organizing the narrative: Lermontov of our time, Dead Ears and Gray. The article emphasizes that although the phenomena of epization and narrativization are closely interrelated, they must be distinguished. While epization is associated with the process of creating a picture of the world and with generic transformation, the phenomenon of narrativization should be attributed to the way of presenting reality and self-presentation of the author. The conclusions explain that in modern Russian drama, the process of narrativization of a dramatic statement is primarily due to the manifestation in the poetics of the text of an epic view of the world and the view of the narrator himself. Thanks to his omniscient position, it is possible to distinguish two temporal planes in the poetics of action: the time of narration and the time of the action depicted in the play. The processes of the utterance narrativization in the analyzed plays undoubtedly broaden the spectrum of an objective view of the events presented, first of all, the events of the characters’ telling.

Improvement of municipal service personnel in the 21st century (through E-education and Distant educational technologies)

vulfovich R.M.

Abstract

An important process within the framework of personality socialization under modern conditions is the process of improving the individual's competencies in the mode of expanding their spectrum and improving the quality level throughout life. At the same time, in a dynamic environment of professional activity, a person has in some cases to radically change his trajectory of professional development. All above-mentioned circumstances are included in the concepts of "lifelong learning". For many categories of employees, this process is associated with great organizational difficulties: the composition of competencies has a complex structure, changes occur quite often, opportunities for personal development are limited due to the conditions of professional activity. One of these categories are state and municipal servants who have a high need to improve their managerial and communicative competencies but are limited by the rigid framework of their official activities. A constructive solution to ensure the improvement of municipal service personnel is the organization and implementation of professional retraining and advanced training programs for employees with extensive use of e-education and distant learning technologies. It is equally important to stimulate employees' own activity in choosing the content and forms of competences' development.

Polical and cultural significance of conflicts over the orthodox symbolization of public urban space in the context of depoliticization

Shvaya A.Y.

Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of two of the most striking conflicts: the transfer of St. Isaac’s Cathedral to the Russian Orthodox Church and the construction of the Church of St. Catherine in Yekaterinburg. In these clashes over attempts to change or redefine the public urban space, a hybrid of “the religious” and “the political” is quite new for a Russian researcher. So, despite the presence of Orthodox public actions, these conflicts cannot be fully called religious, while the peripheral nature of the domestic political agenda makes it difficult to call them political. In this regard, the study of these conflicts requires a special methodological setting (orientation). Thanks to the theory of social performance by J. Alexander, it becomes obvious that the conflict of meanings within these confrontations gives access to the study of display of modern political culture. Guided by his methodology and using the approach to the analysis of the discourse of D. Snow and his colleagues, in the present research, carried out by the author, there have been analyzed the discourses of the two sides of the confrontation in online media publications concerning two indicated conflicts.

The quality of employment in the assessments the regional labor market participants

Baimurzina G.

Abstract

The article describes the results of the sociological study “Quality of employment and human development”, implemented in the Republic of Bashkortostan in October-December 2020. The qualitative characteristics of the socio-labor sphere of the region are analyzed: access to employment, working conditions, guarantees of labor standards and human rights, opportunities for development and self-realization, productivity and economic efficiency. The views and assessments of key subjects of the labor market are shown: employers, self-employed and employees; the impact of the pandemic on the situation and social well-being of employees; the extent of the prevalence of certain signs of precarious labor in Bashkortostan. The results of the study showed that the Republic of Bashkortostan has not remained aloof from global and national transformations in the field of labor and the trends of increasing unstable, unstable and unprotected jobs and labor relations. Differences in the perception of the sphere of work by employers and other social groups are revealed. At the same time, all social groups, including employers, are in solidarity with the fact that it is currently difficult to find a stable / reliable job with a decent salary, as well as with the fact that the development of an employee is, first of all, his / her own prerogative. Such a public consensus in the assessments of the sphere of work indicates the existence of deep gaps in ensuring the quality of employment and social and labor guarantees. For example, more than a quarter of the surveyed employees do not believe that an employee has the opportunity to defend his / her rights and interests in conflicts with the employer. Violation of the fundamental rights of employees, in our opinion, is dissonant with the main principle of social and economic progress of society and is a significant deterrent to the implementation of Russia’s strategic goals and objectives.
