Harmonic model of thermodynamic cycle in thermoacoustic engine regenerator

Zynovyev E.A., Dovgyallo A.I., Vorotnikov G.V.

Abstract

The harmonic model of thermodynamic cycle in regenerator which is a key to analyze the thermodynamic processes of gas oscillating has been established in this paper. It is shown that each parcel of gas in the regenerator undergoes thermodynamic cycle which depends on phase shift between pressure and displacement oscillations of gas.

Thread production accuracy impact on forces distribution in thread and full-strength thread

Kurushin M.I., Kurushin A.M., Suslin A.V.

Abstract

Not only difference of deformation of bolt rod (tension) and nut (compression) but non-uniform in height radial extension of nut and compression of thread part of the rod, nut body twisting in radial plane and above all irregular pitch due to production irregular has an impact on force distribution in thread. It should not strive for a precise production of thread with uniform pitch but on the contrary, due to control irregular thread pitch full-strength of thread can be reach. Our numerical investigation shows, that using of control irregular thread pitch can decrease maximal stresses by 50% in comparison with precisely produced thread.

Method for determining the energy of jets vibration waves

Limanova N.I., Levkin Y.S.

Abstract

In this paper we consider the physical processes occurring in the liquid phase of two-phase flow under vibration load on the structure of the liquid phase as an example of white particles suspended in a traveling wave with a different percentage of its reflection. The amplitude of this wave is 4% of its length and depth of water is equal to 22% of the wavelength [1]. Given the proliferation of vibration waves in the form of concentric spheres, and the identity of the impulsive nature of vibrations, the author offers a method of determining the internal energy state of the wave of the liquid phase.

Fan engine research

Murzagaliev A.G., Nekrasov V.G.

Abstract

The analysis of development of rotational engines has done. In our time among rotational engines rotor-piston engines, blade turbines and fan engines are known. In this article is shown that in the field of autotractor engines any of these types of rotational engines cannot be alternative to piston engines existing today. High technical and economic indicators can be received on the rotational engine of volume type of deep expansion. Such design is realised on the basis of conic fan elements. The broad machine of deep expansion ideas expressed but not realised in an industrial version of the engine. In this work it is proved a principle of blading of a fan surface on a conical rotor. The manufacturing technology is developed and the model of a rotor full-scale is executed from plastic.

Protection devices for improving passive safety of automobiles

Eskin I.D., Alkeev R.I., Suslikov V.I.

Abstract

We have developed protection devices certified by patents [1], [2], [3], [4] of the Russian Federation, for sideway protection of an automobile: front, rear and on both sides in an accident crash. Compared with known devices [5], [6], [7], the suggested protection devices can be installed into all home-produced and foreign automobiles. The devices possess high dissipative ability at damping frontal and lateral crash impact. Provided that the automobile has good contact performances, these protection devices are able to dissipate approximately 80-100% of kinetic energy of a frontal impact in a front crash-test of a 130-150kg automobile.

Pressure measurements in the pipelines with the help of combined high temperature pressure sensor

Limanova N.I., Yudin P.E., Limanov I.A.

Abstract

The pipelines of engines are exposed to different variable forces influence. During the engine tests the working processes control is conducted. Among others such control requires different pressure measurements. The most of the processes are accompanied by the working environment temperatures rise, which may be highly essential. Contemporary means of pressure measurements, which are used in automatic systems for the engine tests control are intended for work in temperature range up to 80ºС. Unlike known the suggested high temperature pressure sensor ensures precision of measurements at the expense of compensation of errors, which appear during pressures definition at high environment temperature. The sensor permits to widen of temperature range up to 400ºС. For that the additional measurements error doesn’t exceed 0,5%.

Forces distribution in thread and external altering load factor in thread joint under structures vibration

Kurushin M.I., Kurushin A.M., Barmanov I.S.

Abstract

According to teaching literature sources and in an engineering practice there is the rule to use the same type distribution of variable dynamic load in thread as the static one for thread strength calculation under variable acting load. Performed numerical investigation shows that it is not quite right and distribution of the dynamic load in thread can be different from the static distribution depends on thread joint elements stiffness and elastic and inertial properties of whole structure as well. External variable load factor and load distribution in thread in structures with thread joints have to be defined taking into account whole structure dynamic properties. In order to increase endurance strength of thread joints subjected to vibration it is necessary to tune off a design from any resonances.

Issues of evolution of rotor piston engines’ subject abroad and in Russia

Kocherov E.P., Kononov V.A., Okorochkov V.V., Okorochkova V.M., Ivanova K.P.

Abstract

The development of small and unmanned aircraft in Russia is hampered by the lack of production of domestic aircraft engines in the power range up to 300 h.p. The main requirement for the aircraft engine is minimal ratio of mass and overall dimensions to output. In a greater degree that is matched by the engines of rotor piston layout. The intensive work on rotor piston engines is carried out abroad by companies of many countries: Britain (UAV), USA (Freedom Motors), Austria (Austro engine) etc. In Russia, at JSC SKBM the works on rotor piston engines were conducted for outboard motor application in cooperation with Rotor Piston Engines Design Bureau of AVTOVAZ. For the satisfaction of needs for small and unmanned aircraft a project of creation of rotor piston engines in the power range of 8-160 h.p. was developed.

Aleksentsev E.I., Shavrin P.A., Fedoseev O.B.

Abstract

The problem of developing the automated system for measuring the geometry of blades for gas turbine engines (GTE) in production conditions is considered. The starting point of the study was the technological continuity requirement being implemented equipment. In the theoretical analysis, supported by the results of simulation and experimental studies the best configuration of automated systems is justified in the context of the main problem - upgrading the POMKL by replacing the optical-mechanical system with high-speed measurement system with differential sensors, integrated into real-time computing environment. The paper presents efficient control and identification algorithms for differential sensors that form the basis of multi-channel high-speed measuring system, the curvature correction algorithms and analytical description of the blades, description of hardware and software to support computing in real time. In this case the expected rate "performance/price" may reach 150-500 units per hour/1000 $ for non-comparable with optical systems, reliability and simplicity of equipment.
