The laser priming of high energy materials ignition

Abstract

By using relatively high laser power densities, it is possible to quickly heat this small portion of the explosive to the critical temperature. The application of lasers to initiate explosives is advantageous because it allows the researcher to closely control and measure how much energy is delivered to the explosive and the rate at which that energy is delivered. The researcher has some degree of control over how much of the explosive material is heated by the laser. This is accomplished primarily by varying the spot size produced by the laser, as control over the penetration depth of the laser light into the explosive is much more limited and difficult to measure.

Dynamic tests of probes for measurement of pulsations of pressure in flowing part GTD with devices of correction of frequency characteristics are spent with a view of check of the developed mathematical models of processes and working off (operational development) of pre-production models of probes before them are direct application at various tests газотурбинных engines. For carrying out of dynamic tests with the purpose of experimental working off of probes for measurement of pulsations for conformity of their frequency characteristics settlement on faculty ASEU SGAU efforts of authors had been created the bench equipment and the измерительно registration complex, allowed to spend frequency tests at the raised{increased} average pressure. The created equipment has allowed to define{determine} experimentally frequency characteristics of probes at average pressure up to 25 kg/sm 2 to frequency of fluctuations of pressure up to 1000 Hz.

Frictional pendulum bearings (FPB) have the universal properties satisfying various requirements at operation of buildings, bridges and industrial constructions. The dynamic periods of oscillations from 1 up to 5 s, displacement up to 1,5 m, high bearing capacity and damping can be provided. Bearings can maintain vertical loading up to 13,5 thousand tons and have the minimal cost of a structure. In the paper the information on influence of earthquakes and other forces influenced on FPB characteristics, used as seysmo-insulators in oil platforms of the project "Sakhalin - 2" are represented.

Improving the operating characteristics of engines by the imposition of manufacturing operation of hermeticity inspection of vacuum-tight radio electronic device cases

Abstract

The mathematical model of the shielding gas injection from the vacuum-tight Radio electronic device (RED) case through the soldered joint of the closure head has been developed. It allows to establish binding between the operating time and pressure of the shielding gas iside the vacuum-tight RED case. The inspection method of vacuum-tight RED case hermeticity by means of determination closure head of the RED case deformation has been developed. This allows to reveal depressurized RED cases and to forecast further changing of the shielding gas pressure.

Development and investigation of electropump of increased service life with ball bearings

Abstract

The results of laboratory investigation and real operation are presented on a high-speed two-stage electropump (EP) of increased service life. In the EP developed design the bearing’s balls are pressed against the cage surface of the thrust bearing, the radial movement of the rotor is decreased by use of slot seals with anti-friction rings, the length of electric motor’s shaft overhang is reduced, the shaft rigidity is increased owing to position of the second stage’s impeller on a hub of the first stage’s impeller. The EP service life in real operational conditions exceeds 22900 hours.
