Abstract
The stability of an axially symmetrical stationary incompressible swirl flow with radial density jump in relation to infinitesimal spiral perturbations is investigated in the paper The dependences of perturbation frequency and increment on the swirl parameter, axial wave number and density jump are obtained. It is shown that perturbation frequency increases while its increment decreases with the increase in the medium density gradient.
