Abstract
The paper reports on operational and technological factors that influence the stiffness of an elastic element of the “squirrel cage” type. The influence of tolerances of the elastic element’s geometrical parameters on the stiffness coefficient of the structure is assessed. A refined procedure for the elastic element stiffness calculation is proposed.
