Abstract
The paper describes the mechanisms of influence of the space vehicle’s own atmosphere (OA) and plasma generated by stationary plasma engines (SPE) on the space vehicle. The results of investigating the extent to which these factors depend on the structural layout (SLO) of the space vehicle are given. Ways of minimizing the negative effect of OA and plasma generated by SPE at the stage of choosing the space vehicle’s SLO are planned.
