Life testing of pipeline elements

Abstract


Life tests of pipeline elements such as a strongly curved branch pipe by pulsating internal pressure have been carried out. In the course of the tests it was established that the pipes formed by flexible pushing through a die with the internal pressure of the filler and those produced by flexible expansion with elastic medium have cyclic longevity exceeding the resource of an airframe.
