Abstract
Possible approaches to the designing of a new generation sensor of the Sun’s position distinguished for its reduced mass-size specifications and an enlarged field of view are discussed in the paper. Brief analysis of the elemental basis necessary for the construction of the device is made. The results of power and precision modeling as well as the designed exterior view of a new generation sensor of the Sun’s position are presented.
