Abstract
Two variants of uncontrolled motion of the “ Soyuz “ carrier rocket after spacecraft separation are discussed in the paper: the motion of the upper stage after the completion of the work of the jet nozzle producing additional force that takes the upper stage away from the spacecraft; and the motion of the stage in case the mode of using the jet nozzle is eliminated in the cyclogram of “ Soyuz “ operation. Probability models of the initial conditions of angular motion are constructed. The peculiarities of the orbital stage motion are revealed, i.e. that it is possible to maintain certain angular orientation during the period of time sufficient for successful performing of navigation-communication tasks in the course of short-term research experiments on the “ Soyuz ” carrier rocket orbital stage after payload separation.
