Abstract
The paper deals with the problems of organizing the process of gas mixing in two-stroke internal combustion engines with spark ignition and crankcase scavenging. Fuel injection into the intake manifold is chosen as the most effective way of mixing from the point of view of the authors. The increase of overall performance of a two-stroke internal combustion engine is estimated. The principle of operation of the system and the experimental installation are described.
