Abstract
The article contains a critical analysis of principles of interlingual treatment of lacunae and argumentation in favour of their intralingual treatment are proposed. There are strong reasons to presume that interlingual treatment goes outside the limits of treatment of the term lacuna; it contradicts the very essence of the term lacuna (gap, lack of an element). Due to this reason the author bases himself on the platform of intralingual treatment of lacunae.
