FORMATION OF LINGUISTIC IDENTITY BY MEANS OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The problem of student's language training is considered within

the communicative education focused on the increase of the level of

linguistic competence of students-future professionals. It is claimed

that in the activity of a foreign language teacher methodical function

begins to dominate: organization of conditions for the formation of

readiness to the solution of professional tasks by means of a foreign

language. Special attention is paid to the methodological procedures

represented by a set of approaches: competence-based, communicative,

contextual, culture-through-language.
