TRANSCENDENTAL AND IMMANENT IN STRUCTURE OF THE WORLD OF ISLAMIC ONTOLOGY

Abstract

The article describes the main types of relationship of
transcendent and immanent in the structure of Islamic world
ontology. All possible variants of how transcendent (god, soul,
another world) is associated with immanent (all earthly, material)
are viewed, the urgency of this trend for the philosophy of Islam
is substantiated. 4 models of relationship are described, difficulties
of Islamic philosophers in justifying the relationship of transcendent
and immanent are noted, reasons to distinguish different approaches
of Islamic philosophers to this subject are given. Particular attention
is paid to the nature of change of types of interaction with the
course of time at Islamic thinkers. The emphasis is made on the
unity of ontology of Islam, despite different approaches of Islamic
philosophers to explain how transcendent becomes immanent and
vice versa
