ON THE COGNITIVE BASIS OF METONYMY (ONTOLINGUISTIC ASPECT)

Abstract

In the article the mechanisms of metonymic transfer in child speech are investigated. Cognitive and linguistic factors determining the specificity of child profiling of significant component of situation are considered.
