Abstract
In the article the peculiarities of activity are singled out and competence models of assistant lecturer, senior teacher and associate professor are suggested. The model is worked out and modern didactic conditions of realization of professional development of a teacher of a high school at preparing to the activity of senior teacher and associate professor are defined.
