Flame propagation velocity and ionization in burning gasoline and methane with addition of hydrogen

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the effect of adding hydrogen to CNG and gasoline on the electrical conductivity and the speed of the flame front. It is shown that the ion current in the CNG is determined by the mass fraction of carbon and the speed of the flame front propagation.
