Abstract
Such concepts as «precedent names», «precedent phenomenon», «ethnomarker», «linguistic worldview», «cross-cultural communication» are considered in terms of discourse analysis. The description of the above mentioned concepts is based on the texts of student’s textbook «OUTCOMES pre-intermediate».
