Abstract
The author reveals and analyses contradictions existing in modern conceptual definitions of the concepts of language system and language structure, analyses the contradictions, tracing the history of the terms language system and language structure, describing their semantic evolution of their meanings and offering her own non-contradictory interpretation of language systematicity.
