COGNITIVE FEATURES OF THE CONCEPT «RAIN» IN THE ENGLISH LINGUISTIC CULTURE (ON THE MATERIAL OF LEXICAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS)

Abstract

The article deals with the concept «Rain», an important

constituent part of the conceptual sphere «Weather» in the English

linguistic culture, and describes its cognitive peculiarities through

lexical-semantic analysis of the word «rain».
