Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of thesaurus methodology of formation of professional competence of students-linguists – future translators in the sphere of special technical communication in the field of car manufacturing. The teaching of students in the field of technical translation is based on methodological platform including special manual and teaching French-Russian automotive thesaurus.
