Abstract

The article presents the results of complex study of the vocabulary of nature in the Russian national dialects of the Samara Region. The material for the study was lexical materials of dialectological expedition. In the Samara dialects the designation of objects of vegetable kingdoms comprises several micro groups with the advanced differentiation of dialectal denominations. The comparative analysis of lexical micro groups allowed to state that on the territory of the Samara Region properly lexical dialectal denominations turned out to be prevalent. Lexical and derivational dialectal modifications of all-Russian words are also numerous. In many cases flora vocabulary is presented by singleword and composite denominations with prevailing of singleword nominative units. Among dialectal lexemes a variety of names of objects of vegetable kingdom unmentioned earlier in regional dictionaries is singled out. In general as on any territory the character of representation of dialectal flora vocabulary in the Samara dialects is directly connected with natural climatic conditions.
