Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of modern system of Russian criminal law and its main elements, including the system saving mechanism of the branch; regularities of its functioning and their value for providing the branch’s integrity are revealed. The author in detail characterizes regularities of emergence, integrity, communicativeness, hierarchy, practicability, equifinality, potential efficiency, historicity and support of self-organization.
