EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION OF COGNITIVE AND FUNCTIONAL MODEL OF DISCOURSE MARKERS BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Abstract
In the article the results of experimental verification of developed cognitive and functional model of discourse markers based on the automated analysis of English corpora are stated. Conclusions about cognitive and functional filling of discourse markers, peculiarities of their semantics and grammatical characteristics, and also their role in the system of language as a whole are stated.
