Abstract
The article deals with the questions of Ye. N. Trubetskoy's role and place in the party of peaceful renewal in the period of 19061910 and also with the reasons of his withdrawal from active participation in its activity. Features of the programme, aims, problems, tactics and methods of struggle of this party, its position and representation in the State Duma, so as the mutual relations with other political organisations of a liberal orientation are analyzed.
