Abstract
The article reveals the artistic dialogue of B.L. Pasternak and F.M. Dostoevsky in the context of the «big time». The author focuses main attention on the characteristics of exposition of the novels «Doctor Zhivago» and «The Brothers Karamazov»: on the system of motives, on the plot lines of heroes. Identified «points of intersection» should be considered as a reflection of commonality in the types of artistic thinking of writers.
