Abstract
In this article the story «Freemason» is analyzed via the context of the whole M. Osorgin’s creation. This story is a testimony of creative reorientation of the writer - from historiosophy to examination of the inner world of a usual, even «an Insignificant» man. The way and death / resurrection mythologems are brought into focus at methalevel to set forth a myth of human soul evolution.
