DISCOURSE AND PRAGMATIC POTENTIAL OF INTER-LEVEL TRANSPOSITION OF LINGUISTIC UNITS

Abstract

This paper explores the role of various structural types of inter-level
transposition of linguistic units in processing of discourse and intensifying
its substantial pragmatic intentions. Attention is focused on such relevant
aspects of the subject as nomination of occasionally actualized concepts,
semantic compression, explication of structural specific of language,
language game, actualization of idiostylistic peculiarities of text.
