Abstract
In the article the urgency of civil contract is considered through the term of the contract and the period of its existence, the necessity to distinguish between them is substantiated, comparative characteristics of these periods is carried out. Also in the article contracts with indefinite term and indefinite contracts are analyzed, the reasons for their termination are highlighted.
