Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of lexical and semantic features of Litany as an independent type of text and as a part of German Orthodox divine service. It is established that litany is a potentially variable part of service which is strongly influenced by external historical factors. Viewed translated versions of little Litany are also characterized by lexical and semantic variability.
