Abstract

This article contains an investigation and an all-round analysis of peculiarities of religious views, traditions and rituals which were wide-spread in Chuvash villages before the October Revolution. The exceptional combination of an Orthodox Christianity, paganism, islam and another religions and also an atheism in a Chuvash country before the October Revolution is shown.
