Abstract
This study is devoted to the interpretation of phonetic material of a given region in the northern Russian dialect space. The article describes the features of a vocalic system of a country dialect in the village of Artyushino, Belozersk district, Vologda region. Changes taking place at the moment in the language are under consideration.
