Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of social perception in the aspect of phenomenon of ethnic representativeness. It is shown that different kinds of impetuses (conceptual, visual, combined) activate different characteristics of ethnic stereotypes which are connected with ethnic identity and ethnic tolerance. It is revealed that the character of etnic auto- and hetero stereotypes is influenced by the factors of modality of perception, complexity of impetuses, their intuitive completeness and diversity
