ON THE QUESTION OF ASPECTUAL PAIRS OF RUSSIAN VERBS: ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT SOLVING UNSETTLED PROBLEMS

Abstract

The article considers several recently published works which address the problem of aspectual pairs in the Russian verbal system. Upon the discussion of these publications, the author suggests the ways for resolving the contradictions and inconsistences in the existing interpretation of how the verbal aspectual system functions in Russian.
