MYTHS OF SOVIET SCIENCE ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF EAST SLAVIC WRITING (ANALYSIS AND CRITICISM)

Abstract

The article deals with the emergence of writing in the East Slavs. It offers an analysis of the basic scientific concepts of the Soviet era of the early East Slavic written language and dependence on them of some modern myths on this topic.
