Abstract
In the article the understanding of discursive meaning as the product of functional and semantic synthesis defining the process of birth of meaning as a conceptual system which is formed in the process of language operations, realizing artist’s intention is suggested. The ability of linguistic units and categories to perform simultaneously a variety of functions creates in the discursive process the effect of «syncretism of forms», to the description of which the given research is devoted.
