Abstract
In the article on the materials of Kuibyshev (Samara) region the history of study of regional «cluster» of late Soviet and Russian elite is viewed. The content and stages of historiographic process, its determination by different factors: social and political current state of affairs, regime of access to the sources, theoretical paradigm is viewed. Relevant tasks and prospects of development of elite logical researches are defined.
