Abstract
In the article the process of formation of scientific organization of agriculture in the Samara province in the early XX century is viewed. The history of organization of the oldest agricultural scientific institution in the region - Bezenchuk experimental station is revealed. The main directions of activities of this scientific institution in prerevolutionary period are studied.
