Abstract
In the article the peculiarities of development of agriculture of the USSR in the period of rulling of N.S. Khrushchev are viwed. It is shown that all the attempts of its reformation notwithstanding all pragmatism coulndn’t give the lifelong effect. The causes of failure of socialist agrarian policy were based, first of all, in the replacement of real social and economic guidelines by speculative, ideological ones.
