Abstract
New information on the history of landlord farming of the Middle Volga Region and Urals Region are found in the attachments to the newspaper «Orenburg Province News» that were specifically published in 1861, before the abolition of serfdom. The material on Menzelinsky Uyezd, modern eastern Tatarstan, the story of landlord farming is almost not studied. This unique data on the economy and personal composition of the noblemen-landlords, the list contains a complete list of estates of Menzelinsky Uyezd.
