Abstract

The article reviews the main factors that prevent or inhibit the introduction of cost approach in the management of closed-end Russian companies; cost approach being a significant innovation in that case. The peculiarities of Russian business environment and mentality of the key decision-makers are examined - the factors that should be considered when implementing such innovations to Russian companies.
