Abstract
The article is written on the basis of analysis of archive documents and materials. In the article an attempt of reconstruction of history of the Turkic settlements of the Samara Region which were in the XVIII–XIX centuries a part of the Nadyrovsky volost (Ufa county; later Buguruslan county of the Orenburg province, and since 1851 – as a part of the Samara province) is made. Based on a wide range of archive documents, issues of social and economic, demographic development of Turkic villages of the northeast area of the territory of future Samara province which was a part of a special administrative and territorial unit – the Nadyrovsky volost are considered. This volost was one of the most densely populated cosmopolitan areas with obvious prevalence of a Turkic ethno element. For the first time features of land ownership of various ethnoclass groups are considered (teptyar, solitary men, yasachny
Tatars, service class Tatars, the Chuvash, the Bashkirs), specifics of their economic and demographic development come to light. The special attention is paid to the issues of chronology and toponymy of Turkic settlements of the Nadyrovsky volost.
