The purpose of the article was to substantiate the application in the state support model of local mortgage markets an integral parameter characterizing the level of socio-economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation.
Research hypothesis: an integral criterion of this model can be an indicator of gross regional product (GRP), one of which components reflect the level of development of enterprises in the construction industry, the value of which in turn is influenced by the dynamics of mortgage lending to the population of the regions. The state support factor is determined by the amount of co-financing of regional mortgage markets depending on the level of GRP of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
To achieve this goal, the article carried out a comprehensive correlation analysis of indicators by regions and districts of the Russian Federation. A model of state support for regions was proposed and substantiated, depending on their level of socio- economic development. Practical implementation of the proposed model of state support will allow building a system of state co-financing of the mortgage markets of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, taking into account the specifics of socio-economic development of the Russian regions. The methodological tools of the study were methods of statistical analysis.
