Abstract

Training in the field of economics and management requires developing skills of mathematical modeling in the analysis and optimization of managerial decisions. The course of economic and mathematical modeling facilitates the integration of knowledge of mathematical and economic disciplines, to consolidate skills in the use of modern software tools, formation of skills of independent creative work based on the study of a wide range of practical tools. The structure of the major themes of a practical training is developed based on the study of typical problems in the development of socio-economic objects. At the heart of learning should be used the method of specific situations that allows to develop creative abilities of trainees. Orientation course for self-instruction specifies the chosen thematic focus and consistency in the implementation of the tasks involved in constructing correlation- regression model predicting the chosen object of study.
