SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC INDICATORS OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY OF RUSSIA AND THE SAMARA REGION

Abstract

The article studies main social and economic indicators of innovative activities and trends in innovation, which are characteristic of the current stage of development of economics of the Russian Federation and the Samara Region. The article is of review and analytical nature and is based on the analysis of statistical data which reflect the state of innovative activity of economics of the country and the region. The analysis of three groups of indicators of innovative development of national economy: rates of basic economic indicators, changing of scientific and technological potential, degree of involvement of enterprises in innovative activity is carried out. The article shows the dynamics of these indicators for the period of 2008–2014. Changes in the structure of indicators of innovative economic development in the Samara Region are viewed. Main directions for the promotion of innovation in the Russian companies are viewed.
